TO POWER A CLEANER FUTURE

At ACES Delta,  and through our planned network of hydrogen hubs across the U.S., we’re moving the boundaries of renewable energy to achieve safe, reliable and sustainable decarbonization in multiple energy sectors. Because to power a brighter future, bold moves are needed today.

The Inflation Reduction Act - Incentivizing the advancement of hydrogen and a decarbonized future

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022 is the single largest investment in climate and energy in American history, enabling lower energy costs and incentivizing the adoption of clean energy technology to combat climate change and advance human prosperity. The IRA will provide federal incentives for companies to advance and expand their investments in energy infrastructure including deploying utility-scale hydrogen, both as energy storage and a decarbonizing fuel. A deeper dive into the IRA tax credit program and the four primary pillars of benefit for power producers:

Provides long-term financial incentives for the production of low-carbon energy
Provides long-term incentives for capital investment in clean energy infrastructure
Adds new tax incentives for clean energy production and investment, including hydrogen
Fundamentally transitions the tax code toward a technology-neutral approach to clean energy production and investment

A 100% RENEWABLE FUTURE

The renewable energy revolution has begun. As countries and communities around the globe set ambitious decarbonization targets to reach net-zero by 2050, renewables are indispensable to the clean energy transition. But the dependability and reliability of intermittent renewables continues to be an industry concern—until now.

Our Advanced Clean Energy Storage hub enables utility and industrial scale hydrogen production from renewable energy sources and stores the hydrogen in underground salt dome caverns to provide a huge reservoir of renewable fuel for power generation when wind and solar power generation fall short of demand. Located in Delta, Utah, the Advanced Clean Energy Storage hub will help decarbonize the region and lead the path toward a 100% renewables future.

WE ARE DRIVING THE CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION

A joint venture between Mitsubishi Power Americas and Magnum Development, ACES Delta is driving the clean energy transition through the development of hydrogen hubs across the United States to transform intermittent renewables into reliable, safe, and affordable energy.

WE ARE BUILDING A RENEWABLE ENERGY HUB

Beginning with our flagship hub in Delta, Utah, we are expanding America’s next frontier of clean energy to produce, store, and deliver green hydrogen throughout the United States.

our impact

The Advanced Clean Energy Storage hub will provide an end-to-end solution to produce, store, and deliver clean energy annually to the Western United States.

RELIABLE

Our solutions enable storage of renewable energy for hours to unprecedented long-term durations of months.

RENEWABLE

Our innovative generation and storage technologies enable consistent, uninterrupted, and dispatchable renewable energy.

SCALABLE

The Advanced Clean Energy Storage hub is the first facility to combine utility and industrial scale renewable hydrogen production, storage, and transmission.
